Now, this famous children’s book is made into a movie where Robert Downey Jr. stars as obviously as Dr John Dolittle, who, in this version, is tasked with travelling to a magical island to help cure an ailing Queen Victoria with the help of his many talking animal friends, of course.
2. The Turn of the Screw, by Henry James
If you are not into scary stuff then it’s definitely not for you. This movie was in theatres on January 24, 2020. This book becoming into a movie was already adapted for the screen several times. But this time the direction lead by Floria Sigismondi, starring Finn Wolfhard, Mackenzie Davis, and Brooklynn Prince(Yeah a cute girl with scary expressions) in a heart-pounding tale of a nanny who arrives at a Maine estate to care for two very messed up orphans.
3. P.S. I Still Love You, by Jenny Han
By far now if you are also binge-watching Netflix then you might have come across this rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! It’s an adapted version from that based on a book from Jenny Han’s 2015 novel. So go ahead and watch this romantic book made into a movie where the main character Lana Condor is back as Lara Jean, this time with a completely new boyfriend (played by Noah Centineo) and an old crush (Jordan Fisher) who returns to spark some action drama. And in case some fans are wondering about the book Always and Forever, yes, you can expect the third movie from Lara Jean, in the coming years.
4. Emma, by Jane Austen
Yes, that’s the movie in which the actress from the split is again nailing the role. Besides that, she is a good actress as well that you can see here as Anya Taylor-Joy, a young woman so occupied with match-making others that she forgets about a partner for herself. This fabulous book being turned into a movie is written by ‘the Jane Austen’ so you can predict the drama for sure. The movie also stars Johnny Flynn, Bill Nighy and Josh O’Connor.
5. The Call of the Wild, by Jack London
For all the dog lovers this is the time to binge-watch this movie again-n-again with your pet. As ‘The Call of the Wild’ has been an acclaimed book before the movie as well. And, of course, the book is really about a dog named Buck, who gets stolen from his home and taken to the Yukon. From the looks of the trailer, the movie will also put a heavily CGI-VFX Buck dog at the forefront. If you missed this book as a kid, it’s totally worth revisiting now as a great book turned into a movie sequence.

This has been a very good thriller novel for all the C.B.S.E Indian school children as this was also included in their syllabus to read. As there is very fine detailing CGI that a movie can definitely carve out about a man who is invisible and goes to an Inn where a lot of people are suspicious about him. By far now every romantic, thriller, sex, and what not version lover might have seen this triology. If you haven’t then trust me, there’s a lot left for you that the people who have seen the movie. It’s all in the book. This world-famous book made into a movie was definitely a blockbuster where a billionaire guy named Christian Grey is somehow strangely in love with a writer Anna or Anastasia Steele while starting off the whole relationship as an agreement for S&M kind of relationship.
Trust me the book is in itself so steamy and sensual, so it’s your choice to watch a movie or read the whole thing in detail.
8. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson
This is an amazing book being made into a movie. The book was published in 1911 and is about an orphan, Mary Lennox, who has to live with her uncle on a country estate in Yorkshire. Colin Firth is starring in the movie as the release date for the film is April 17, 2020. But due to such pandemic on grounds, I guess you might have to wait for a bit longer.
9. The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn
It is about an agoraphobic woman who drinks wine all day and spies on her neighbours. Nothing bad will come from that, right? Or will it! As its already creepy to look Amy Adams in such a disturbing role. This popular book being made into a movie is some of the hardest jobs for the directors to carve out such creepiness which doesn’t look harmful in the beginning. It’s just another woman from the window but find what happens later on May 15 release of the Movie. Or read the book now. Your choice.
10. Little Women by Louisa M. Alcott
This is a famous children book being made into movies recently and had been a great hit after the director Greta Gerwig was so influenced with her previous starring that you can see a lot of characters are cast from them. And a huge shout to the rising star Timothy Chalamet, yes he is in the movie. Here she tells the stories of four march sisters who have very distinct but interesting thoughts over life. The book was published in two volumes. Therefore there are a lot of layers and time changes in the movies but I am sure you are going to enjoy the Saoirse Ronan’s feministic Jo character along with Emmat Whatson(yes our Hermione Granger guys!)as Beth.
